Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)
EQIP provides financial and technical assistance to farmers and ranchers to implement conservation practices that improve environmental quality. These practices can also enhance agricultural productivity, leading to increased revenue.

The Southeast Regional Food Business Center is a collaborator and catalyst for food and farm businesses across our five-state footprint. We work with grassroots and other partners to build more equitable and resilient local and regional food systems and promote wealth-building opportunities for participants.
Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)
CSP helps farmers maintain and improve existing conservation systems and adopt additional conservation activities. These efforts can lead to better resource management, improved crop yields, and increased revenue over time.
Focus: Conservation, resource management.
Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP)
Description: FMPP supports projects that develop, coordinate, and expand direct producer-to-consumer market opportunities. It helps farmers increase their revenue by providing access to new markets, such as farmers’ markets, community-supported agriculture programs, and roadside stands.
Focus: Direct marketing, local markets.
Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG)
This program helps agricultural producers enter into value-added activities related to the processing and marketing of new products. The goal is to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and increase producer revenue.
Focus: Value-added products, marketing, processing.
